Paint Chip Challenge

I've been busy working on a new quilting group challenge, called Paint Chip. This challenge is based on 2 paint chip color choices and without limitations and guidelines to follow with this challenge. After days on end viewing paint colors and fabrics. My arrival is into utilizing these 2 paint colors with the 2 main matching fabric choices, and sure the color spectrum shall expand considering the printed fabric. I've  also begun working with my fantastic Quilting   Magic Mirror tool. Love this handy tool and how it displays varying kaleidoscope designs in my play I've decided to implement the color choice spectrum from the paint chip challenge group towards building some paper piecing units. During the play & formation phases, I began pulling together a few pieces. My first " cog" ( as I like refer to them ) is a Star flower shape called,  Dolley Madison Star ,  or of the found and known  Camelot Star by :   Barbara Brackman's Morris Hex
