CQ Christmas Embroidery Designs

More Crazy Quilting to start this week  and feed the addiction to these wonderful Embroidery beauties. These wonderful Crazy Quilting Embroidery designs have now trickled over into some Christmas designs this week. Today, I've been pulling scraps out from the Christmas fabric bin. And quite fun pulling those fabrics out along with reminders of something once stitched some time ago, and to enjoy the colors and blends. I adore each little motifs and how well it fits into its choice area. Most of the designs have stitched out smoothly today for me. Though I did run into a few troubled spots, and as to have to work around them, and soon back to smooth sailing running through the pattern designs. My problem likely raised due to my oversight in continuously using the same machine needle previously used with the last design. Once changed to a new needle all things returned to smooth stitching. Stitching CQ Hexagons

Stitching CQ Hexagons I must be addicted to these little cuties.  I've been (rather my embroidery machine) cranking out more CQ Hexagons. This is day three with focuses on constructing another machine embroidery design. These hexagon designs can be found at Molly Mine I'm thrilled with them each time completed and eager to do another.  And even more, like the idea of using up some of those accumulating scraps,  resulting from the latest quilt made. It's really a wonderful use for those leftover scraps.  And I love to revisit the previously favored selected fabrics from my quilt making. I'm having such fun selecting the scraps for step one to form the hexagon by machine applique. Once the hexagon formed from the scraps, the fun really begins with how the thread color and stitches come together to make another beautiful design. There are so many potentials within these designs.  Many combos of choice fabrics, colors, and

CQ with machine embroidery

Find me in the sewing room today.  I'm testing a technique with my embroidery machine today. The choice technique requires a muslin foundation block fused with stabilizer for embroidery stitching. I plan to stitch a new & recent design purchased. This technique is Crazy Quilting in a Hexagon block, with machine-stitched designs that I recently grabbed over at  Molly Mine.com  . I've been eyeballing these wonderful designs for a while and decided to purchase one of her wonderful machine embroidery files to try out. Both my eyes & desires mighty hungry to try the technique out. I adore CQ blocks & her Embroidery designs. Why what more could a gal ask for! Not only are the designs a Crazy Quilting block layout, also hr designs are combined of machine embroidery to stitch, and resulting in a hexagon! Wow !  Thank you...   Molly Mine.com   !!! If you wish to hop over and check out her designs, I encourage you to do so with the provided link. Molly Min
