Hexagon sewing

Once upon a time long ago... I was introduced with sewing hexagons. This little number pictured below,  and from my photo-archives,  is 2 rows of built & offsetting hexagons  appliqued onto an off-white cotton block.  The Hexagon Class-session Blocks    to this day, fill my block library of UFO's. Though completed all class blocks, decisions changed for  making the blocks into just one Quilt. More or less, reserving that sun, forever shining  among a library of blocks...  aka UFO'S.  Just maybe..., it's time to pull those out  and make something all bright and of new!

From the Archives

Missions of requested sewing, certainy can take one to fun places,  and many rewards regarding within family fondnesses. These items, arrived from an effort request a while back,  which was, to turn a favorite cotton shower curtain  into renewed pool-side buddies.  (Can you spot the wave stitches - bordering on the mat pictured?) Once a curtain, turned now- into several pillow cushion covers, mats, tablerunner, and a bundle of coasters, And soon to be at the pool-side.
