A Christmas Quilt

Christmas Quilt Late last summer I began working on a few Christmas projects. One of those projects was, The Christmas Quilt  pictured and well seasoned by a charm pack designed for the season. The quilt carries all of the 42 charms with a random patchwork and order. Each block was sashed with 2.5 " white strips and in between blocks and to each forming row. Wide zigzag stitching was sewn for an added decorative stitch, with color coordinating threads using green and red, and used for contrast on the white sashed areas.  This quilt is both fun and easy.  I really loved the variety of printed cuts in the charm pack. This quilt has a bright green flannel backing adding warmth to the quilt.  And a back pocket done with patchwork and added upon completing for labeling,  The label carries the details with an embroidered Christmas greeting. Quick n' easy method, with a soft simple quilted appearance,  and to make any time of the year, and or, season.
